Rising from the Ashes - Montserrat recovers from disaster

BONN: "Now we know, we grow with the flow"- words you wouldn’t expect from a displaced person whose life has been turned upside down by volcanic eruptions. But such is the extraordinary spirit of the people of Montserrat, you can find T-shirts with the phrase printed over a picture of the latest major explosion. This small island has become a household name. In 1989, it had already been hit by disaster in the shape of Hurricane Hugo, which caused damage to over 90% of the housing. Read
