Bonn, Germany: On 8 February the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme welcomes incoming Executive Coordinator Ms Flavia Pansieri, who was appointed by the UNDP Administrator Kemal Dervis at the end of November 2007. She is succeeding the previous Executive Coordinator Ad de Raad.

Flavia Pansieri is joining UNV coming from Yemen where she served as UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative and with a broad experience of over 25 years with several other UN agencies worldwide, including UNDP, UNIFEM and UNDCP.
