This interview with Luiz Carlos da Costa, Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Haiti, was recorded originally in 2009 as a tribute to the work of UN Volunteers in Haiti. Tragically with the January 12th earthquake it now serves as both an even more poignant tribute to those UN Volunteers, as well as to Da Costa himself, who also lost his life.
