Women continue to face insecurity occasioned by rape, domestic violence and other forms of physical abuse. Very few cases are properly prosecuted... This leads to impunity and perpetrates a vicious cycle of violence against women. I am helping them to break out of it. Read
Violence against women: Reporting from Colombia

My collaboration with the organization, logistical coordination and supervision of UNIFEM's events provides me with the chance to actively promote and participate in the creation of debate areas, supporting social mobilization and strengthening the net, and to learn more about victimized women and the existing policies affecting Colombia.
