During two days, we worked with 170 adolescents (from ages 13 to 18; from rural and urban areas; indigenous and non-indigenous; female and male) using innovative, playful and creative methodologies in identifying the main issues that concern them in their family environment, at school and at the community level. Within media relations at the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste (UNMIT), I am part of a production team that puts out the Daily Media Review, the twice daily summary of all national and international news related to Timor-Leste, sent to the more than 2,700 UNMIT staff and 15 United Nations agencies in Timor-Leste. Through a state programme, the Government of Kazakhstan is making efforts to encourage the repatriation of ethnic Kazakhs from abroad. A former repatriate himself, UN Volunteer Nurbakhit Atan has advised more than 500 repatriates and conducted joint volunteer actions in the Ulan district. Read
