In general, I have encountered two types of work here: one type is planned, regular tasks and the other is emergency tasks. These need immediate action, meaning working under pressure.< Read

UNV volunteers provide girls with education opportunity

A UNV-organized girls’ education project involving 50 young girls ages 8-14, who were working full time at the Yamoussoukro market.  The girls were illiterate and do not speak French, and their working environment made them vulnerable and exposed to abuse.
