A visit to an indigenous community in Sucumbíos, to conduct workshops and make contributions for the proposal of a joint treaty between the ordinary court and the indigenous justice system, and present certificates to the advocates of The Treaty For Good Coexistence conceptualized by AMNKISE, an indigenous Kichwa women’s association, Lago Agrio, Ecuador. Voluntary sector gathers to boost development debate in Latin America

Volunteering organizations are gathering in Quito for the first in a series of get-togethers aimed at paving the way for a World Volunteer Coalition.

The Quito meeting aims to start shifting the development debate in Latin America, and will be followed in April and May by further regional consultations in Turkey, the Philippines and Senegal.
