Bonn Mayor visits UN headquarters

Lord Mayor of the City of Bonn, Bärbel Dieckmann, visited the UN campus Langer Eugen on Friday 25 May 2007.  She was received by UNV Executive Coordinator Ad de Raad, Deputy Executive Coordinator Joyce Yu and representatives of the 12 other UN organizations based in Bonn.

The purpose of her visit was to share information on upcoming international events, including UN Day on 20 October 2007, and familiarize herself with the current activities of the UN organizations. 

Ms. Dieckmann has been the Lord Mayor of Bonn since 1994.
