Korat, Thailand: In Thailand, 5 December coincides with His Majesty the King’s birthday. In honour of volunteering and the King, UNV and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)Environment Unit were involved in a tree planting event in Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) to help the municipality become a low carbon city.
