New ICOS - making the UN Volunteer experience even better

Bonn, Germany: The new international UN Volunteers Conditions of Service, which came into effect on 1 March 2015, include many new developments, such as increased pre-departure and resettlement allowances, extended post-service medical insurance, and paternity leave, to name a few, which show that UNV is committed to making the UN Volunteer experience even better. 

The new conditions will better suit the changing needs of UN Volunteers, retain UNV as a cost effective modality attractive to UN entity partners, and streamline volunteer management procedures globally.

Bonn, Germany: This week and for the second time in less than a month, the average age in the building UNV Headquarters in Bonn dropped significantly, inversely proportional with the rise in levels of energy and enthusiasm. UNV, as part of a series of UN Youth Volunteer training sessions, is hosting  groups of young people attending their Assignment Preparation Training. Read
UNV announces new Conditions of Service for international UN Volunteers
