Happy UN Day!
This United Nations Day, 2020, marks the 75th Anniversary of our organization, the United Nations.
This historic anniversary also comes during the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, with obviously severe health, economic and social impacts. It is times like these that we are reminded of the importance of the United Nations.
On this UN Day, and on its 75th anniversary, I want to thank all volunteers, everywhere, and throughout the years, for your commitment, for your time and know-how, to drive the United Nations mandate further.
