Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Recovery and Resilience Specialist/ Head of the Strategic and Economic Unit (a,.i) the IUNV Programme officer on Inclusive Economic Growth will:

• Support the programmatic implementation of the RFF and, mapping and analysis of gaps, entry points and opportunities contributing to youth and female entrepreneurship in the blue and green economy initiatives;
• Support the Monitoring and Evaluation of Project implementation;
• Support the dialogue and outreach efforts at the national, local and community level to strengthen Socio-Economic Recovery and build Resilience and foster inclusive sustainable economic growth that leaves no one behind;
• Draft and coordinate the procurement of studies, assessment, consultancies and agreements;
• Seek alignment and synergies with other activities and initiatives of UNDP (e.g., the Accelerator Lab) and international and national partners, particularly in areas related to youth and female entrepreneurship for improved livelihoods and enhancing the involvement of the Bissau-Guinean diaspora in the economic and financial life in Guinea-Bissau;
• Contribute to the development of partnerships between UNDP and other UN agencies, as well as with government institutions, other African SIDS, academia, NGOs, IGOs, the private sector, existing sustainable development alliances, and other stakeholders and international networks;
• Collaborate and coordinate with national partners through external advocacy, networking, coalition building and initiating timely research and analysis;
• Use internal platforms for dissemination and reporting and to enhance project quality (e.g., IATI, ATLAS, SharePoint);
• Contribute to data collection and communication efforts on the project when needed;
• Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Volet Communication

Volet appui aux partenariats

• Développer des outils d’engagement des partenaires (présentations PowerPoint, adaptation des offres globale/régionale aux contextes des pays couverts par l’Unité @UNV Maghreb, préparer de courtes notes en appui à l’engagement thématique de l’Unité, etc.) ;

• Mettre à jour les données sur les partenaires sur le portail digital dédié du Programme VNU, capitalisant sur l’appui des volontaires en ligne pour l’identification/mise à jour des acteurs au volontariat.

Under the direct supervision of Head of Office, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:

• Provide technical support and guidance to UNHCR sub-office, field offices and partners on activities within the areas of WASH.
• Undertake needs and resource assessments with sub-office and field offices to prioritize needs and activities in the provision of WASH services refugees and returnees.
• Make provisions for the installation of WASH services in any new camp or camp extension identified for the settlement of refugees in direct coordination and collaboration with the designated site planner or shelter officer.
• Contribute to the scale up of the UNHCR WASH monitoring framework in projects and keep the records updated.
• Assist in and check engineering calculations leading to detailed drawings for required WASH infrastructures and activities and associated cost estimates for camps/settlements, transit centers, etc.
• Contribute to develop training plans and tools and provide inputs in training sessions to ensure that implementing partners, refugees and other persons of concern to UNHCR acquire the needed knowledge and skills.
• Represent the WASH sector internally and externally, in particular in the WASH cluster with other relevant actors/technical coordination platforms as necessary.
• Emergency response: Willing to be deployed for the first phase emergency response to carry out needs assessment and support the country to develop a WASH strategic plan of response.

Reporting to Programme Management Specialist Adjumani, and under he over all supervision of the UN Women Country Representative, the Programme Officer contributes to the effective management of the LEAP programme in the UN Women Adjumani Office by providing substantive inputs to programme design, formulation, implementation, and evaluation. The Programme Officer guides and facilitates the delivery of UN Women programmes by monitoring results achieved during implementation and ensuring appropriate application of systems and procedures and develops enhancements if necessary. The Programme Officer works in close collaboration with the programme and operations team, UN Women HQ personnel, Government officials, multi and bi-lateral donors and civil society ensuring successful UN Women programme implementation under portfolio.

1. Contribute technically to the development of programme strategies in the LEAP Programme.

·Provide substantive inputs to the design and formulation of programme/ project proposals and initiatives,

·Identify areas for support and intervention related to the programme.

2. Provide substantive technical support to the implementation and management of the LEAP Programme.

·Provide technical inputs to the annual workplan and budget,

·Lead the implementation of programme activities,

·Coordination of the call/request for proposals, including the organization of technical review committees, and capacity assessment of partners,

·Review, coordinate and monitor the submission of implementing partner financial and narrative reports,

·Support training of partners on Results Based Management and monitor implementation.

3. Provide technical assistance and capacity development to project/programme partners.

4. Provide technical inputs to the monitoring and reporting of the programme/ project.

·In collaboration with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and the Programme Specialist Humanitarian Action, – collect, compile, analyse and share periodic data/ information on programme performance to inform continued programme efficiency and effectiveness,

·Provide analytic and strategic inputs to the Country office plans to ensure the GE/HA specific issues are effectively addressed,

·Collect and compile program activity information, evaluating progress toward achievement of work plans and related program outcomes,

·Ensure that aggregate reports are regularly prepared and submitted on time,

·Monitor progress of implementation of activities and finances using results-based management tools,

·Draft reports on monitoring missions, programme results, outputs and outcomes,

·Provide substantive inputs to the preparation of donor and UN Women reports.

5. Provide substantive technical inputs to the management of people and finances of the LEAP Programme.

8. Provide substantive inputs to advocacy, knowledge building and communication efforts.

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of [leadership of the UNAC as the first Line Manager and the Head of the Resident Coordinator’s Office (RCO) as the second Line Manager] or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UNV [National Field Coordination Officer] will be responsible for:

1. Supporting the UNAC in the Delivering As One activities including the UNDAF reporting and UNSDCF 2021 -2025 implementation and reporting.

2. Advocacy for the SDGs and their localization at community level.

3. Maintain existing and build new partnerships with District Local Government, and other local partners stakeholders for the achievement of the 2030 Agenda.

4. Support the functionalization of effective Humanitarian Development coordination mechanism at the district and regional level

5. Support to the coordination role of the UNAC at regional level including organizing meetings, reporting among other activities.

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of a Project Manager or his designated mandated representative(s), the UNV M&E and Reporting Assistant will:

• Responsible for clear and timely reporting under the projects results framework, while providing for support to any ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes.
• Review the documents provided by UNDP to obtain better understanding of the project goals, context and profiles of the targeted BMOs in Ukraine including assessments conducted by UNDP. Provide full support with data collection to regularly track changes of monitoring key indicators and the actual status of development of 27 partner business membership organizations, including, but not limited to: number of members, new members, member retention rate, share of MSMEs among members, share of women entrepreneurs among members, budget, share of members paying fees, share of income from service provision, services offered to MSMEs on a cost-recovery basis, industry-based standards or independent professional certifications developed, laws/sub-laws to which comments provided, coalitions joined or created and more. Assist with data entry, data analysis and data interpretation of surveys and interviews.
• Follow up on reporting requirements (formats, deadlines…) and procedures, establish the reporting calendar and initiate/prepare the reports in cooperation with other colleagues. Create and maintain spreadsheets and dashboards required for efficient reporting.
• Ensure that projects’ monitoring data is entered into the relevant data management systems (Atlas ERP, corporate intranet and other).
• Maintenance and archiving of all supporting records, documents and files from monitoring and research activities (raw data, evidence etc).

• Support to organization of meetings, workshops, roundtables, conferences, forums and other project events in online and offline format through ensuring proper administrative and logistic arrangements, facilitating related procurement and financial processes.
• Support to project HR processes, including recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, training, extension, maintenance of personnel files and attendance records.
• Support to office maintenance and assets management, procurement of office equipment and supplies.

The national UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:

• Assist in the implementation of UNHCR programmes, including the delivery of material assistance to persons of concern (recipients)..
• Assist in carrying out assessments of damaged private buildings in priority locations that have been identified.
• Assist in verifying any bill of quantity (BoQ), execution plan, including defining the scope of works, technical drawings and specifications for internal analysis.
• Support the market analysis of locally available NFI, construction materials and skills.
• Participate in needs assessments as a member of Multi-Functional Team (MFT).
• Assist in monitoring UNHCR programmes as a member of MFT.

Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Head of Country Programme and close coordination with the International Shelter/WASH Specialist and National Engineer, he/she will implement the construction work undertaken by UN-Habitat partners with the aim of accomplishing the task in the most effective manner on agreed time schedule and ensure the facilitation of and smooth implementation of UN-Habitat programmes/projects. “Response to the Socio-Economic Impact of Flash Flooding through Rehabilitation of Damaged Houses and Upgrading Stormwater Facilities in Aden and Al-Hawtah in Yemen” aiming at mitigating the impact of flash flooding and reducing the risk of climate induced natural disasters to enhance resilience of vulnerable communities in Aden and Al-Hawtah Cities from recent flooding.

The National Engineer represents UN-Habitat in the site level coordination meetings at the local level and ensure proper advocacy for the UN-Habitat roles and responsibilities and shares information on the progress of works on different projects on the ground, the National Engineer will:

Specifically, the he/she shall:

• Assess the condition of shelters/houses damaged in Aden and Al-Hawtah project sites
• Follows up with contract related to activities and construction of drainage systems and damaged houses rehabilitation,
• Prepare detailed design, drawings and Bills of Quantities required
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on the progress of works of different activities implemented at the state and locality levels;
• Check and verify payments made by the different counterparts, contractors and suppliers and office operations related payments and provide recommendations to Yemen office to process payments; and
• Support regular meetings in Aden and Al-Hawtah shelter/housing sector coordination meetings and provide information on the progress of works at the state level.
• Assess the needs and resources of beneficiaries in terms of shelter/housing with participation of the community and taking into consideration the implementing partners’ views and in defining appropriate solutions;
• Make recommendations on the procurement of all the required shelter/housing materials, equipment and tools to ensure timely implementation of plans and functioning of the rehabilitated shelter/housing.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision in Aden and Al-Hawtah shelter/housing projects and related activities. This includes developing standard designs for shelter and providing technical details on layout of the IDP site (streets, alleys, drainage, etc.) and bill of quantities;
• Liaise with the other UN agencies, Government ministries and implementing partners in order to coordinate activities encompassing shelter/housing rehabilitation activities including drainage structures
• Regularly liaise and coordinate with the sector specialists and host authorities and other agencies and maintain close working relationship with the specialists in the Aden Hub through coordination and information sharing mechanisms;

• Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.
