Description of task

Dans le cadre des attributions qui lui sont déléguées et sous la supervision directe du chef de la sous-délégation du HCR de Bagasola ou son/sa représentant(e), le/la Volontaire des Nations Unies effectuera les tâches suivantes:

  • Mettre en place un système efficace d’attribution de logements au personnel et aux visiteurs en gérant les réservations, la réception et les modalités de paiement,
  • S’assurer que les logements, y compris la blanchisserie et toutes les installations d’hebergement, sont maintenus à des normes acceptables et propres quotidiennement, et qu’ils sont remplacés ou réparés,
  • Superviser toutes les activités et tous les mouvements de l’enceinte en étroite coordination avec l’unité de sécurité et superviser la présence et le travail du personnel des surfaces, examiner leurs fonctions et leurs contrats, et préparer les évaluation des performances ;
  • Organiser des évenements spéciaux pour le repos et la récréation du personnel et des invités ;
  • Gérer et superviser la comptabilité et la tenue des comptes du personnel et des visiteurs qui payent en espèces et les tenir à jour à des fins d’audit en étroite coordination avec le personnel des finances ;
  • En collaboartion avec l’unité de la sécurité, s’assurer que les équipements d’urgence tels que les extincteurs, l’alarme d’urgence et les kits médicaux d’urgence sont à jour et accessibles à tous les visiteurs et les invités ;
  • Aménager le paysage et maintenir la propriété générale et l’éclairage des allées dans l’enceinte du compound, y compris l’élimination appropriée des déchets, le remblayage des latrines usagées, la vidange des fosses septiques, la démolition des structures délabrées et la pulvérisation contre les moustiques et les insectes, l’entrétien propre des dalles d’abbatage et la réparation de la cuisine,
  • Gérer les dispositions de restauration, en supervisant l’approvisionnement, la supervision du personnel de cuisine et de service du cafétaria, le transport, le stockage et la préparation des aliments pour s’assurer que les normes d’hygiène des aliments et du personnel et des repas sont maintenues aussi elévées que possible ;
  • Préparer la liste d’appareils, de meubles, d’ustensiless et de linge de la maison nécessaire dans chaque chambre conformément à la politique globale de logement du personnel du HCR et la soumettre à l’administration pour l’achat,
  • Superviser le travail quotidien du personnel de nettoyage et s’assurer que les installations sont hygieniquement propres et saines pour l’habitation ;
  • Préparer une liste de consommables nécessaires au nettoyage des bureaux et de la maison d’hotes en indiquant la quantité et les spécifications de chaque article et la soumettre à l’adminsitration pour l’achat,
  • S’asurer que les règles et règlements régissant l’utilisation des locaux d’hébergement et des bureaux du HCR sont respectés par les occupants respectifs ;
  • S’assurer que les chambres et les bureaux sont dépoussiérés et nettoyés au moins une fois par jour spécifiquement avant l’occupation par l’utilisateur assigné.
  • S’assurer que les salles de bain sont néttoyées quotidiennement ;
  • Remplir une fois par an le checklist qualité sur la plateforme digital et le plan annuel d’entretien pour la maintenance de la maison d’hôte,
  • Gérer le magasin des stocks des produits d’entretien et forunitures du bureau,
  • Effectuer les taches connexes selon le besoin.

Description of task

Under the overall guidance of the head of the Management Support Unit and direct supervision of the M&E Analyst, the UNV is expected to perform the following duties pertaining to the covid-19 Emergency Response Project implemented by the Sudan Federal Ministry of Health, and independently monitored by UNFPA:

Ø Lead the development of the project Monitoring and Evaluation Calendar for field/site visits covering facilities, institutions and beneficiaries of the covid-19 Emergency Response Project;

Ø Provide guidance and support to the project’s national UNVs/M&E to conduct quality project monitoring and reporting;

Ø Ensure that the monitoring activities are well documented using standard template and procedures and shared with responsible partners at Khartoum and state levels for follow up on actions;

Ø Contribute to development of results-based monitoring tools and procedures in the context of the Project Monitoring and Evaluation Plan;

Ø Provide the Country Office with quality monthly update on implementation and progress of the covid-19 Emergency Reponses Project for development of quarterly reports for submission to the Project Management Unit for decision making;

Ø Collect inputs from the focus states - through the national UNVs and partners - on implementation, do quality check and contribute to the development of annual progress reports to stakeholders and donors;

Ø Analyze and asses how findings of monitoring, reviews, assessments and other studies related to the project are analyzed, disseminated and taken into account in ongoing project planning and management;

Ø Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning, and documenting innovation strategies, approaches, lessons learned and best practices arising from the project implementation;

Ø Ensure that requirements including impartiality and conflict of interest of team members are complied with. Ensure accurate documentation of any actual or perceived conflict of interest.

Furthermore, UN Volunteers are encouraged to integrate the UN Volunteers programme mandate within their assignment and promote voluntary action through engagement with communities in the course of their work. As such, UN Volunteers should dedicate a part of their working time to some of the following suggested activities:

· Strengthen their knowledge and understanding of the concept of volunteerism by reading relevant UNV and external publications and take active part in UNV activities (for instance in events that mark International Volunteer Day);

· Be acquainted with and build on traditional and/or local forms of volunteerism in the host country;

Description of task

Under direct supervision of the Director of the assigned Office, the Programme Management Officer will be responsible for the following duties:

  1. Act as the programme/project focal point of the Office:
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates programmes/projects;
  • Monitors and analyses programme/project development and implementation at all stages, including the analysis of implementation difficulties and initiating remedial action;
  • Provides periodic progress reports on the programmes/projects’ implementation, including fund utilisation;
  • Review, prepare and provide inputs to relevant documents and reports related to programmes/projects;

Description of task

  • Conduct research, and/or participate in conducting comprehensive C4D situation analysis of social, communication, cultural, economic and political issues in the country. Collect and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information and data to support the establishment of comprehensive and evidence-based information for developing and planning the C4D component of the Country Program of Cooperation;

  • Collect, synthesize, draft and/or organize materials and related documentations for evidence-based C4D strategies and plans to ensure optimum impact, scale and sustainability of achievements/results.
