Description of task

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of Associate Donor Relations Officer (Global Focus content management) in collaboration with the Chief of Section, the Refugee UNV Assistant to the Global Appeal and Reports Section will support in the following tasks:

  • Inclusion of refugee voices in the work of the Section/Service
    • Exploring creative ways to reflect refugee (or forcible displaced) voices in appeals, reports and other publications produced/co-produced by the section.
    • Drafting and developing good practices for the Section/service to follow in terms of engaging with refugees.

  • Design creative content
    • Conceptualizing infographics with data on budget, targets, indicators, results, etc.
    • Helping design the new results-based framework for presentation in the Global Appeal.
    • Presenting content in a structured and accessible manner for the print publications, microsites and presentations produced/co-produced by the Section.

  • Innovative thinking around Global Focus redesign
    • Familiarizing with the Global Focus website and the current platform it’s built on.
    • Participating in discussions on Global Focus reform, including any meetings within/outside the Section.
    • Contributing to the Global Focus redesign by proposing creative ideas in terms of design (in line with UNHCR brand guidelines), presenting the content in a meaningful way.

  • Keep abreast on the information related to the new results-based framework (COMPASS), different global platforms/UNHCR systems like refugee data, inter-agency portal, etc. and analyse/understand the impact of any new developments on the work of the Section.

  • Any other tasks related to appeals, Global Focus and reports.

Description of task

Objetivo: El/La Coordinador de Agencias Telemarketing es responsable de la exitosa implementación y planificación del canal de telemarketing para la adquisición de nuevos donantes mensuales por medio de agencias de call centers especializadas en campañas de telemarketing. Se deberá asegurar una correcta evaluación y monitoreo de estas campañas para cumplir con los objetivos generales del plan estratégico de recaudación de fondos en la oficina de México. Además de supervisar directamente el control administrativo de gastos, contratos y facturación de las agencias aliadas.

Se refiere a donantes mensuales a las personas que acceden hacer un donativo mensual a UNICEF por medio de una tarjeta bancaria.

En el marco de la autoridad delegada y bajo la supervisión del Fundraising Officer (Acquisition), el/la Voluntario/a Social Champion Coordinator II - Coordinador de Agencias Telemarketing de la ONU llevará a cabo las siguientes tareas:

Gestión de call centers

  • Implementación de campañas de recaudación de fondos y al plan de trabajo para acciones de nuevos donantes en telemarketing por medio de agencias especializadas de call center, proporcionando datos operativos pertinentes a la propuesta de campañas, objetivos mensuales, métricas e indicadores claves de rendimiento (KPIs).
  • Asegurar la implementación efectiva de campañas de telemarketing considerando un seguimiento cercano a los call centers para identificar y corregir problemas de operación, incluyendo contacto con gerentes y supervisores, plan de motivación/incentivos y calidad de la campaña.
  • Acompañamiento en la apertura de nuevos call centers, implementando entrenamientos de onboarding, revisión de plan reclutamiento, y seguimientos de principales KPI´s.
  • Realizar un programa efectivo de monitoreo y evaluación semanal y mensual de resultados y principales indicadores de las campañas con los diferentes call centers, así como acordar cambios y propuestas que ayuden a alcanzar el objetivo de las metas establecidas. Preparar informes de resultados para ser compartidos de manera oportuna con el supervisor y con las agencias.
  • Elaborar contenido de apoyo para los recaudadores de fondos como scripts para las campañas, capacitaciones de programas de UNICEF, escucha de llamadas para monitoreo de calidad, planeación de programas de incentivos.
  • Revisión y control de facturas con cada una de las agencias y el área administrativa de recaudación de fondos asegurando una correcta implementación del presupuesto mensual conciliando la proyección y la producción real, además del alojamiento y seguimiento de los fondos en los contratos.

Planeación y Estrategia

  • Responsable de realizar la planeación de la estrategia anual de campañas de telemarketing con agencias de call center para lograr la meta anual de cantidad de nuevos donantes y de recaudación, así como asegurar la correcta implementación del presupuesto mensual monitoreando los gastos de manera eficiente.
  • Junto con el supervisor realizar los ejercicios de proyecciones financieras para solicitud de fondos de inversión y cálculo de ingresos del canal de telemarketing, así como en la elaboración de los respectivos reportes financieros de 6, 12 y 36 meses.
  • Análisis continuo de la información referente a los principales indicadores con el objetivo de realizar recomendaciones y cambios para maximizar el canal de telemarketing y las agencias en términos de cobranza, retención y conversión.
  • Recibir, procesar y revisar archivos de producción y de bases de datos para enviar al área de cobranza y call centers de manera regular, y enviar respuesta de cobranza a las agencias en tiempo y forma.
  • Seguimiento administrativo relacionado al apoyo en el proceso para contratación call centers, seguimiento a contratos y facturas, adquisición de materiales promocionales de apoyo a recaudadores.

Comunicación:

  • Responsable de trabajar con el equipo de prospección individuos, particularmente con el coordinador del programa in house telemarketing y con el equipo digital.
  • Continua comunicación con el equipo digital para asegurar una correcta implementación de las campañas para generación de las bases de datos, y asegurar una correcta transferencia de base de datos a call centers.
  • Cuando se necesite, apoyar a la correcta implementación de campañas de comunicación y optimización de donantes mensuales actuales, así como en monitoreo de resultados.
  • Comunicación constante con los Fundraising Associate de otros países y especialista de la oficina regional y global.

En el marco de la autoridad delegada y bajo la supervisión del Oficial de recaudación de fondos de individuos o su representante designado, el/la Voluntario/a Social Champion Team Leader II de la ONU llevará a cabo las siguientes tareas:

Manejar y desarrollar equipos de recaudación de fondos para UNICEF con enfoque entrenamiento y monitoreo de operaciones, desarrollo de habilidades blandas y metodología cara a cara (face to face) con el fin de que tanto el/ella misma, como los equipos creen conversaciones con personas en espacios públicos y/o privados, con el fin de inspirarles a contribuir con el trabajo de UNICEF en favor de las niñas, niños y adolescentes, a través de donaciones recurrentes por medio de un débito directo.

  • Participar en el proceso de selección de facers y team leaders miembros del equipo.
  • Entrenar, capacitar y desarrollar las habilidades de recaudación de fondos de los facers.
  • Entrenar capacitar y desarrollar habilidades de liderazgo y gestión de equipos de brazos derechos y próximos Team Leaders.
  • Monitorear y evaluar el desempeño del equipo a su cargo para determinar las cualidades positivas, las oportunidades de mejora y el complimiento de estándares de calidad de Social Champions.
  • Brindar retroalimentación sobre el desempeño de los facers y brazos derechos para orientar su gestión hacia las metas e indicadores definidos.
  • En coordinación con el área de Adquisición de nuevos donantes, plantear las metas e indicadores del equipo.
  • Presentar reportes y resultados diarios, semanales y mensuales al área de Adquisición de nuevos donantes.
  • Evaluar los puntos de captación de donantes más efectivos para optimizar el trabajo del equipo y recomendar nuevas alternativas.

Además de lo anterior, a los Voluntarios de la ONU se les insta a integrarse al mandato del programa en el marco de su asignación y promover la acción voluntaria a través de la integración en las comunidades en el desarrollo de su trabajo. Como tales, los Voluntarios de la ONU deben dedicar parte de su tiempo de trabajo a alguna de las siguientes actividades recomendadas:

  • Fortalecer su conocimiento y entendimiento sobre el concepto de voluntariado por medio de la lectura de publicaciones pertinentes tanto del programa VNU como externas, así como desempeñar un papel activo en las actividades del programa VNU (por ejemplo, en los eventos de conmemoración del Día Internacional del Voluntariado);

Description of task

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of Director, TTFSC or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UN Volunteer Forensic Pathologist will:

  • Perform post mortem examinations, both external examinations and autopsies, in cases submitted to the Forensic Science Centre by official and private clients;
  • Complete Medical Certificates of Cause of Death as required for the registration of deaths cases, at any crime scene, facility or location in Trinidad and Tobago;
  • Prepare and issue reports to the Coroner and Police Investigators on examinations performed, including observations made and opinions as to the cause of death;

Submit samples taken in the course of post mortem examinations to various laboratories for specific analyses;

  • perform microscopic examination of specimens;
  • complete Proof of Death Certificates for submission to insurance companies and other agencies by persons claiming life insurance benefits;
  • testify in criminal and civil courts and at Coroner Inquests in relation to professional findings and opinions;
  • visit scenes of suspected homicide where such visits would be of assistance to investigators;
  • direct and supervise junior staff, including Mortuary Attendants and Autopsy Technicians;
  • assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of standardized policies, protocols and procedures for the delivery of pathology services;
  • contribute to decision making in matters involving, inter alia, staffing, training, and procurement of equipment and materials for the Forensic Pathology Subdivision;
  • lecture to medical practitioners, law enforcement officers, legal officers, students and other groups on various aspects of forensic pathology;
  • represent the Forensic Science Centre, as required, at conferences, meetings and discussions on forensic pathology matters;
  • advise on improvements and best practices in pathology for the TTFSC;

Description of task

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Clinical Psychologist and in close cooperation with the Lead Clinical Psychologist, the UN Volunteer will contribute to the provision of psychosocial support to victims and witnesses interacting with UNITAD. More specifically, the UN Volunteer will:

  • The incumbent conducts pre-interview psychological assessments in accordance with the UNITAD protocol in particular on vulnerable witnesses such as children, women and victims of conflict -related sexual violence. The assessments are to identify and recommend measures for the Investigative Team to facilitate the testimony of such witnesses to the fullest possible extent in emotionally safe and reassuring environment without suffering further harm. The incumbent conducts also post-interview debriefings of vulnerable witnesses.
  • Where appropriate, the incumbent assists investigators to interview traumatized or vulnerable witnesses, in particular children and survivors of conflict-related sexual violence.
  • Participates in the provision appropriate assistance during interviews and monitors the wellbeing of all witnesses during interviews where appropriate.
  • Trains UNITAD staff members on issues relevant to witnesses' and victims' mental health and psychosocial support, secondary victimization and trauma especially with regard to children, survivors of conflict-related sexual violence and other vulnerable groups.
  • Cooperates with competent Iraqi authorities providing psychosocial, medical and mental health services. Participates with capacity-building trainings for Iraqi judicial and investigative authorities and other relevant national entities with respect to support and psychosocial assistance, and sensitivity to the needs of victims and witnesses.
  • Cooperates with the network of governmental, international and CSO service providers who have a mandate to provide psychosocial, medical and mental health services, for the purpose of facilitating access of witnesses to such services. The incumbent participates in the training and capacity-building activities for the network.

Description of task

  • Ensure that shelter partners when planning shelter works, that the technical component reflects shelter cluster minimum standards for the provision of emergency and other types of shelter assistance and is within the recommended budgetary requirements approved by the cluster. Due consideration should be given to standards in other relevant sectors such as water and sanitation, protection and GSAT;
  • Ensuring that shelter cluster strategy is periodically reviewed to reflect the evolving situation in country and progressively transitioning to more sustainable shelter solutions. This process should be done in close collaboration with the beneficiaries and the host Government while bearing in mind the shelter needs of people upon their eventual return to their country of origin;
  • Ensuring that specifications, bills of quantities and drawings are produced in a technically sound and standardized manner and establish monitoring and evaluation tools to ensure that works are implemented according to cluster recommendations;
  • Promoting the sustainability of technical interventions through local capacity building and self-help in collaboration with local partners in the field. Description of task

Under the supervision of the Chief of Operations and Resource Management and Chief Environment Unit, the Environment Officer will be responsible for managing the Environment Unit in the sector and for coordinating and managing actions on environmental and cultural issues in the mission, establishing, implementing, monitoring and revising as necessary the mission's Environmental Management System (EMS). The duties listed below are part and parcel of this task on the mission's EMS:

Policy and Guidance:

  • Support the Chief of Operations and Resource Management and the Chief Environment Unit in review and/or development and implementation of the mission's environmental policy and objectives (including directives, audit follow-up, Mission Environmental Action Plan, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.);
  • Conduct environmental assessments and surveys of operations in the mission, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA);
  • Liaise with Military at camps to assure assessment actions are completed;
  • Provide environmental support and guidance to clients within the mission;
  • Produce the mission's Environmental Baseline Study (EBS), if no such study has been done, or update existing EBS as necessary;
  • Implement the Environmental Action Plan in the sector of responsibility;
  • Implement and collect data for the environmental Action Planning and Performance (eAPP)
  • Produce the Environmental Emergency Preparedness Plan with relevant offices;

Environmental Action Plan - Implementation:

  • Lead, coordinate and monitor the implementation of the environmental Action Planning and Performance (eAPP) including data collection and reporting
  • conducting regular environmental inspections and risk assessment
  • Maintain a record of environmental issues and actions thereon at the mission, including, for example, a list of potentially hazardous installations within the mission (e.g. petrol station, warehouse storing flammables) in cooperation with fire marshals or other staff at the mission designated to deal with emergencies;
  • Investigate complaints or reports of pollution, contamination, health hazards and other environment-related incidents;
  • Submit periodic reports on environmental issues at the mission, to the Chief Environment Unit including policy compliance status reports as required for DOS;
  • Recommend to the Chief Environment Unit to undertake such measures as may be required to prevent or mitigate environmental problems;
  • Advise relevant officers or offices on environmental issues arising from the assessments, studies and plans, including environmental information relevant to the operations of the mission;

Awareness and Training:

  • Promote awareness on environmental issues;
  • Provide an environmental briefing to all mission personnel including police and military contingents during their induction training and as needed;
  • Conduct environmental training to all mission personnel.

Coordination and Partner Relations:

  • Liaise on environmental issues with local authorities and the office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator and relevant United Nations bodies and agencies present in the country or region hosting the mission;

  • Maintain understanding of socio-political, security (including terrorism-related), humanitarian and other developments/events relevant for the implementation of the Mission mandate through monitoring and collection of data/information from multiple sources, including UN Mission civilian, military and police components, UN Country Team (UNCT), national military/civilian authorities, NGOs, media and other key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of accurate and timely IAT analytical products and briefings, in coordination with other Mission components and sources (socio-political, security analysis, cross-cutting analyses) .
  • Serve as a focal point for the acquisition of information from UNSOM Field Offices.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of IAT tools, such as Information Requirements, in consultation with all relevant information collection components of the Mission.
  • Assist in classifying, managing, storing, and transferring information by using IAT information management processes and systems. Information analysis: Organize, analyze and synthesize information for the identification of trends, production of forecasts, and assessments.
  • Assist in maintaining a system for classifying and storing confidential information, in consultation with information management/technology expertise.
  • Contribute to effective working relationships within IAT and other UN Mission components, the UNCT, and relevant external actors and organizations.
  • Assist the Chief IAT with any other task as required.

Experience remark

A minimum of 36 months of progressively responsible analytical work in the field of international affairs and/orinternational security. Experience in a UN field mission or equivalent experience is desirable. Working experience in the Horn of Africa and/or on violent extremism is desirable.
