Minimum age: 25 years old. Nationals of the country of assignment are not eligible, except the assignments in Headquarters duty stations.
Under the direct supervision of the Programme Area Management, Infectious Hazard Preparedness Unit (IHP) of WHO Health Emergencies, the IHP Technical Officer will undertake the following tasks:
reports and communications required for strategic decision making.
Bachelor degree or equivalent
Public health, Development programme/project administration, Emergency response, immediate relief operations, and post-conflict humanitarian aid operations
- Infectious Hazard Prevention and Preparedness.
Accountability, Adaptability and Flexibility, Building Trust, Client Orientation, Commitment and Motivation, Communication, Creativity, Empowering Others, Ethics and Values, Managing Performance, Planning and Organizing, Professionalism, Technological Awareness, Vision, Working in Teams
