Experience in relevant field directly related to Logistics, Engineering, and Supply Chain Management. Previous experience in logistics operations within a UN Mission or NGO setting, a field military/civilian operation at national or international level, or other organizations with comparable mandates and working conditions, would be an asset.

Bachelor degree or equivalent
Certification/diploma or other supplemental academic qualifications or training in engineering, fuel or chemistry is highly desirable.

At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in two or more of the following areas: (1) the operation of field fuel installations and fuel handling procedures, including aviation fuel;(2) fuel contract administration; (3) maintenance/repair of fuel equipment. Experience in petroleum supply chain operations required. Experience in UN peacekeeping or other field operations is desirable.
Logistics and supply management
The incumbent must be a dynamic, multi-functional person, who supports MONUSCO with professionalism, dedication and client orientation and has affinity with or interest in humanitarian relief, post-conflict situations, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System. Driving license required: Yes Proficient in various MS office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to generate ad hoc electronic documents, spreadsheets and databases.
