Website management:  Regularly update UNDP Kazakhstan website content based on the corporate requirements in cooperation with the ICT and communication team;  Contribute to the UNDP Kazakhstan website content development and design;  Build the research and publications section on the website as a repository of the knowledge materials produced by UNDP Kazakhstan. Communication and advocacy materials/capacity building:  Identify innovative opportunities and new communications tools and platforms to display the key work of the UNDP Kazakhstan;  Assist the Communication team with any tasks related to communication and advocacy (producing stories, press releases, speeches, etc.);  Provide trainings for UNDP Kazakhstan staff on communications and advocacy for further development. Furthermore, UN Volunteers are encouraged to integrate the UN Volunteers programme mandate within their assignment and promote voluntary action through engagement with communities in the course of their work. Compile the information and data collected and send them every week to the National UN Volunteer in Ha Noi (Data Compiling and Translation Officer); Create communication contents on the implementation of the assignment (e.g. pictures, short films, narrative accounts – including human stories), while respecting security and safety rules, and send those to the National UNV in Ha Noi for forwarding to UNODC; Be in constant contact with the National UN Volunteer in Ha Noi to understand the latest instructions from UNODC regarding the implementation of the initiative; Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by UNODC. Qualifications/Requirements Required degree level: Bachelor degree or equivalent Education - Additional Comments: A first-level university degree in journalism, law, political science, global studies, international development, public policy or related fields; Required experience: 24 Months Experience remark: At least two years of professional work experience is required at the national and/or international level in journalism, programme implementation, policy/legal advice, research/analysis or other relevant experience with one or more of the fields of UNODC mandates (transnational organized crime, criminal justice, anti-corruption, drugs and health, sustainable livelihoods) Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners, including grassroots community members, religious and youth organizations, and authorities at different levels; familiarity with tools and approaches of communications for development; Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management; and office technology equipment; Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines; Working knowledge of languages of any minority groups in Viet Nam is an advantage; Language skills: Vietnamese(Mandatory), Level - Working Knowledge Area of expertise: Journalism, mass media and broadcasting Driving license: No Application procedure: * Not yet registered in the UNV Talent Pool?
