Les VNU coordonneront les activités du projet au niveau régional sous la supervision générale du conseiller technique en chef/gestionnaire du portefeuille des moyens d'existence inclusifs et de la résilience du PNUD à Djibouti et en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe du projet Rising Djibouti. Les VNU (les coordinateurs régionaux) organiseront périodiquement des événements d'engagement communautaire et de sensibilisation afin d'impliquer les bénéficiaires, de faciliter leurs interventions grâce à des systèmes de coopération entre collègues. Ces efforts d'engagement communautaire et de coordination permettent d’éviter les chevauchements avec d'autres projets et programmes et facilitent la collaboration à tous les niveaux et étapes de la mise en œuvre du projet. En outre, ce mécanisme permettra à la direction du projet d'identifier tout défi ou écart par rapport au plan d'action convenu et d'intervenir en temps utile pour faciliter les progrès. Contribute technically to the development of programme strategies in the area of Women Peace, Security and Humanitarian Action (WPSHA) · Provide substantive inputs to the design and formulation of programme/ project proposals and initiatives; · Identify areas for support and intervention related to the Women Peace, security and Humanitarian Action 2. Provide substantive technical support to the implementation and management of the WPSHA programme · In close collaboration with the WPSHA team, support the implementation of programme activities; · Ensure quality and timely implementation of the Programme, documentation of good practices, success stories as well as high quality and timely reporting for results. · Coordination of the call/request for proposals, including the organization of technical review committees, and quarterly capacity assessment of WPSHA partners; · Review, coordinate and monitor the submission of implementing partner financial and narrative reports; · Support training of partners on Results Based Management and monitor implementation. 3. Provide technical assistance and capacity development to project/programme partners · Provide technical support in the implementation of WPSHA programme activities; Develop technical knowledge products · Maintain relationships with national partners to support implementation and expansion of the WPSHA programme; · Identify opportunities for capacity building of partners and facilitate technical/ programming support and trainings to partners, as needed. 4. Provide technical inputs to the monitoring and reporting of the programme/ project
· Monitor progress of implementation of activities and finances using results-based management tools; · Draft reports on monitoring missions, programme results, outputs and outcomes; · Provide substantive inputs to the preparation of donor and UN Women reports. 5. Provide substantive inputs to building partnerships and resource mobilization strategies · Provide substantive inputs to resource mobilization strategies; analyze and maintain information and databases; · Prepare relevant documentation such as project summaries, conference papers, briefing notes, speeches, and donor profiles; · Participate in donor meetings and public information events, as delegated. 6. Provide technical support to inter-agency coordination on WPSHA to achieve coherence and alignment of UN Women programmes with other partners in the country · Provide substantive technical support to the WPS Programme Specialist, Representative and Deputy Representative on inter-agency coordination related activities by drafting background reports and briefs. 7. Provide substantive inputs to advocacy, knowledge building and communication efforts · Develop background documents, briefs and presentations related to WPS · Coordinate and organize advocacy campaigns, events, trainings, workshops and knowledge products; · Coordinate the development of knowledge management methodologies, and products on WPS
Master degree or equivalent
· Master’s degree or equivalent in Peace and Security, social sciences, human rights, gender/women's studies, international development, or a related field is required · A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Duties of the UNV include, but are not limited to: - Supports the office’s engagement with the humanitarian community, including in its role as Global Coordinator of the Mine Action Area of Responsibility (MA AoR) within the Global Protection Cluster particularly focusing on issues related to the Afghanistan programme; - Assists in the organization of meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops, etc. with other Agencies, Funds and Programmes as well as partners on specific humanitarian-related issues; - Conducts research and drafts official documents related to priorities of UNMAS Afghanistan; - Researches, analyzes and presents information gathered from diverse sources on assigned topics/issues particularly focusing on issues related to the Afghanistan programme;; - Contributes to the preparation of various written documents, e.g. drafts sections of studies, background papers, etc.; - Supports the work of the office on advocacy and outreach particularly focusing on issues related to the Afghanistan programme;; - Performs other duties as requested by the supervisor (Senior Programme Officer Afghanistan). -Support development of project management tools and processes to track project delivery
