Minimum age: 25 years old. Nationals of the country of assignment are not eligible, except the assignments in Headquarters duty stations.
The purpose of this assignment is to provide technical advice on public health, NCD, and lead in the management, design, implementation, monitoring and reporting of The Defeat-NCD Partnership programme activities in Ecuador, in support of the Ministry of Public Health. Within the delegated authority and under the guidance of the Programme Coordinator or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the NCD Programme Officer based within the Ministry of Public Health will carry out the following tasks:
National NCD Capacity Building
Community Scale-up for NCD Services
Affordability and Accessibility of Essential NCD Supplies
Sustainable NCD Financing
Master degree or equivalent
Master's degree or equivalent in public health, public administration and graduate degree in Medicine or equivalent, from an accredited and recognized academic institution.
Public health, Monitoring and evaluation
Adaptability and Flexibility, Commitment and Motivation, Commitment to Continuous Learning, Communication, Ethics and Values, Integrity, Planning and Organizing, Professionalism, Respect for Diversity, Working in Teams
