Under the supervision of the WHO Representative, the UNV Public Health Specialist will provide technical support and advice to the ministry of health in the successful implementation of the district response plan focusing on the nine pillars aligned to the national plan.   • Support the MoH in setting up and implementing a comprehensive COVID-19 contact tracing process and provide on-site support in responding to challenges encountered by contact tracing teams.

  • Providing support to the Nairobi Convention in tasks related to ‘Implementation of the Strategic Action Programme for the protection of the Western Indian Ocean from land-based sources and activities (WIOSAP) focusing broadly focusing broadly on demonstration projects support, development of project Guidelines and other regional frameworks,
