Working with Communications Specialists and UNDP’s various units, the Digital Communications Officer will use available UNDP Malaysia material to create compelling, visually appealing, and shareable content. The position will design and implement coverage strategies across social media platforms, for key events and knowledge products; as well as ensure social media implementation of specific UN International days. The role will maintain the digital communications calendar as part of the coverage for the Country Office’s activities and/or on-going digital campaigns. The Digital Communications Offcer will work closely with programme and/or project colleagues to support online reporting, information sharing and promotion of UNDP’s activities, events and knowledge products, as well as assisting in the publishing of quarterly email newsletters. They will also be responsible to provide monthly reports on UNDP Malaysia’s online platform using latest metrics via variety of online measuring tools. The main objective of the assignment is to review and analyse technical and policy documents related to the deployment of solar energy solutions for health facilities in Namibia; coordinate data collection at the national level to feed into the development of the Solar for Health programme; organise and closely coordinate stakeholder engagement and ensure their validation of the programme design prior to submission of the documentation to GCF as per the Country Office guidance, and (1) produce a stakeholder engagement report and minutes from all working group sessions; and a stakeholder engagement plan for the preparation of the full funding proposal as well as the implementation of the programme in Namibia (2) provide technical inputs for the elaboration of the project preparation facility request, concept note, pre-feasibility study and/or other documents for the respective country, as per the guidance from UNDP country office. The volunteer is required to work in coordination with other relevant experts to prepare all the documents that fully meet GCF investment criteria, in line with UNDP accreditation (as per UNDP guidance).
