Minimum age: 22 years old. Applicants must be nationals of or legal residents in the country of assignment. The purpose of this assignment is to support the national NCD prevention and communication activities in Rwanda. Within the delegated authority and under the guidance of the Defeat-NCD Partnership Programme Coordinator for Rwanda, the NCD Prevention Specialist will carry out the following tasks:
Master degree or equivalent
Master’s degree in Public Health with an advanced degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Information, Marketing, Public Relations, Branding, Media Studies, or a simialr relevant field is required.

Bachelor degree or equivalent
A first-level university degree or equivalent in combination with relevant training and/or professional experience in human rights or gender may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree

at least 2 years of progressively, responsible and relevant professional experience in the field of human rights or justice at the local, national or international level, including experience with civil society organizations and experience in human rights analysis and reporting cases.
