Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Associate Livelihoods and Economic Inclusion Officer or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UN Volunteer Associate Livelihood and Economic Inclusion Officer will:

  • Maintain close contact and cooperation with partners to facilitate the economic inclusion of refugees, such as line ministries, private sector and development actors in accordance with UNHCR Global and Country level policies, priorities, and strategies, in particular the Global Compact on Refugees. This includes advocating with public and private sector services providers to include UNHCR POC in supporting services (business development, micro-finance, training, saving accounts, poverty alleviation and social protection, etc.).
  • Work with the multi-functional team, more specifically with the Protection Unit, to assess the legal framework for the right to work and rights at work and recommend/implement advocacy initiatives and policy reforms to improve UNHCR POC’s economic inclusion, rights and access to work.
  • Build on UNHCR databases to support regular information sharing and coordination among different humanitarian, developmental and governmental stakeholders. This includes supporting the implementation of socioeconomic and wealth ranking surveys utilising community-based strategies to inform targeting, monitoring and facilitation of development programmes.
  • Conduct necessary assessments in collaboration with relevant private and public stakeholders, including impact assessments on local economies and surveys that help to identify investment and funding opportunities that enhance the economic inclusion of UNHCR POC.
  • In case UNHCR is implementing specific livelihoods activities, strengthen, guide and monitor the livelihoods interventions to help ensure they are market-based, and that the role of UNHCR has been strategically determined in consideration of its comparative advantage vis-à-vis other partners.
  • The post holder will update and contribute to the implementation of the strategy for livelihoods in the area of responsibility within the Field Office where the position is located.
  • S/he will assist in the implementation of all livelihoods programmes. The incumbent will also be responsible to undertake stakeholder mapping and conduct outreach to potential development and private sector partners and respective opportunities to facilitate the socio-economic integration of persons of concern (POC) and peaceful coexistence with host community.

En tant que membre actif de l'équipe de l'UNICEF, le/la Volontaire des Nations Unies apportera un soutien efficace, opportun, réactif, convivial et de haute qualité est apporté à l'UNICEF et à ses bénéficiaires dans l'accomplissement de ces fonctions. Sous la supervision du Spécialiste de Programme, Chef du Projet intitulé « Améliorer la santé maternelle et infantile au maroc a travers la modélisation des systèmes de santé communautaire renforces » ; et fera partie de la Section sante de l’UNICEF Maroc., Il/Elle sera appelé à assumer les tâches suivantes :

  • Soutien technique pour améliorer le système de santé communautaire grâce à l'élaboration et au renforcement des systèmes de soins de santé primaires au niveau communautaire, en se fondant sur les relais communautaires ;
  • Soutien technique pour améliorer l'accès à la nutrition et aux services de santé maternelle, néonatale et infantile et soutenir le développement de l'enfant dans les 1000 premiers jours ;
  • Soutien technique pour repositionner le rôle de Dar Al Oumouma comme levier pour encourager l'accouchement dans un environnement supervisé et la consultation post-partum ;
  • Soutien technique pour accroître la demande de services de santé maternelle et infantile / nutrition au niveau communautaire, grâce à une combinaison de stratégies de communication pour le développement pour un meilleur engagement communautaire et le changement de comportement durable ;
  • Soutien technique pour l'amélioration de l'état nutritionnel de la mère et de l'enfant grâce à des activités intégrées et multisectorielles axées sur la réponse aux carences en micronutriments ;
  • Soutien au Programme de santé maternelle et infantile par le biais d'une approche de mentorat pour renforcer la capacité des partenaires et de l'élaboration de cadres fondés sur des données probantes sur l'efficacité des interventions proposées.
Bachelor degree or equivalent

Diplôme universitaire en médecine, soins infirmiers et sages-femmes, santé publique et nutrition, développement de l'enfant, développement social, développement communautaire ou autres disciplines pertinentes.

Au moins deux années d'expérience professionnelle dans la planification, la programmation, le suivi de la mise en œuvre et l'évaluation des programmes de développement, de préférence de santé.
Expérience professionnelle dans une fonction de gestion de programme ou une expertise technique dans la survie de l'enfant et les soins de santé souhaitée.

Expérience de travail sur le terrain souhaitée.

Sous la supervision directe de la Spécialiste C4D et la chargée de Programmes Adolescence et Jeunesse, le/la Volontaire des Nations Unies effectuera les tâches suivantes:

  • Lire et prendre connaissance de l’ensemble de la documentation C4D et ADAP existante et les actions en cours ;
  • Soutenir le développement, la mise en œuvre et le suivi-évaluation des stratégies de changement de comportements pour/par et avec les adolescent.e.s et les jeunes ;
  • Etablir une cartographie détaillée des réseaux existants au niveau national et assurer la mobilisation de ces derniers dans les différentes initiatives mises en œuvre ;
  • Développer et soutenir le renforcement de partenariats avec les réseaux et organisations de jeunes et autres partenaires, pour la participation de ces derniers dans des activités visant le changement social et de comportement ;
  • Soutenir pour assurer une participation significative des adolescents et des jeunes dans les initiatives et actions lancées ;
  • Soutenir dans le développement et le lancement de nouvelles initiatives/programmes novateurs (nouvelle plateforme digitale etc…)
  • Tout autre travail requis par les superviseurs du poste.
