Sous la supervision directe de la Spécialiste C4D et la chargée de Programmes Adolescence et Jeunesse, le/la Volontaire des Nations Unies effectuera les tâches suivantes:

  • Lire et prendre connaissance de l’ensemble de la documentation C4D et ADAP existante et les actions en cours ;
  • Soutenir le développement, la mise en œuvre et le suivi-évaluation des stratégies de changement de comportements pour/par et avec les adolescent.e.s et les jeunes ;
  • Etablir une cartographie détaillée des réseaux existants au niveau national et assurer la mobilisation de ces derniers dans les différentes initiatives mises en œuvre ;
  • Développer et soutenir le renforcement de partenariats avec les réseaux et organisations de jeunes et autres partenaires, pour la participation de ces derniers dans des activités visant le changement social et de comportement ;
  • Soutenir pour assurer une participation significative des adolescents et des jeunes dans les initiatives et actions lancées ;
  • Soutenir dans le développement et le lancement de nouvelles initiatives/programmes novateurs (nouvelle plateforme digitale etc…)
  • Tout autre travail requis par les superviseurs du poste.
Bachelor degree or equivalent

Au minimum Licence en sciences sociales, communication, relations internationales ou d'autres domaines pertinents

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of Regional Director NEBE or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UNV ICT Specialist will:

  • Provide advice to NEBE Regional Offices on all ICT issues related to elections.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director to establish data collection/analysis, reporting and management information systems.
  • Integrate, document and compile the regional reports sent by Regional Directors to NEBE HQ;
  • Provide support to keep interlinked software between Regions and HQ up-to-date.
  • Provide technological backstopping and support on the regular reporting process of NEBE Regional Offices.
  • Help to establish digitize record, work closely with Joint Election Operation Centres (JEOCs) in developing maps and collecting data of election violence related issues.
  • Conduct ICT training for the Election Officials in the regions.
  • Provide ICT support for meetings, workshop and seminars organized by NEBE Regional Offices.
  • Provide support to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the NEBE Regional Office.
  • Perform other related duties as required
Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • University degree in ICT, IT and other related fields with relevant field working experience in provision of ICT services

  • At least 2 years’ experience in ICT involving professional organziations.
  • Ability to work and act under pressure in a politically sensitive environment with comfort.
  • Excellent oral and written skills of the region are mandatory.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners, including grassroots community members, religious and youth organizations, and authorities at different levels; familiarity with tools and approaches of communications for development;
  • Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment; ability to work effectively in a multicultural team of international and national personnel;
  • Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various Database software, MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management; and office technology equipment;
  • Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines;

  • Have affinity with or interest in democratic governance volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System.

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of Regional Director NEBE or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UNV Logistic Officer will:

  • Assist the Regional Directors of NEBE to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate logistics requirement for elections.
  • Assist in the operation and logistics activities in the Region in coordination with counterparts in NEBE.
  • Assist in planning the election operations in the region and help project staffing and logistic operation requirements in coordination with NEBE logistic hubs and constituency offices.
  • Assist in logistic and operational arrangements in coordination with other organizations involved in elections.
  • Prepare reports on all election logistic related activities and their status to the Regional Director of NEBE.
  • Will undertake other activities related to the elections as directed by the Regional Director.
  • Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.
Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • University degree in Business Administration with specialty in Procurement, logistics and supplies, humanities or international relations with relevant field working experience in operations/Logistics.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in logistics and operations management involving a big target group is desirable.
  • Ability to work and act under pressure in a politically sensitive environment with comfort.
