Sous la supervision directe de la Représentante Résidente Adjointe, le/la volontaire VNU effectuera les tâches suivantes :

Appui technique à la coordination des GTG

  • Assure la planification et l’organisation des réunions (statutaires et extraordinaires) des GTG SNU et Groupe de Dialogue ainsi que l’élaboration de tous les documents y afférent;
  • Assure le partage de l’information à tous les membres des deux GTG en temps opportun;
  • Assure le suivi de la mise en oeuvre des recommandations issues des différentes réunions des deux groupes ;
  • Assure l’information des membres des groupes sur les évènements en lien avec le genre dans le pays;
  • Mettre en place et maintenir les archives et la documentation des deux groupes
  • Constituer une base de données de compétences au sein des deux groupes et faciliter les échanges de compétences et d’expériences (résultats pouvant faire l’objet de modèles, politiques et procédures ,rapports);
  • Appuyer les Chefs de file des deux groupes dans l’exercice de leurs fonctions.
  • Appuyer l’équipe gouvernance dans la gestion de la mise en œuvre de ses activités (appui à l’Assistante programme dans la réalisation des ses activités )

Appui programmatique pour la mise en œuvre des programmes conjoints UNCT relatifs à l’égalité des sexes et l’autonomisation des femmes

  • Appuyer l’organisation des réunions relatives à la mise en œuvre des programmes conjoints ;
  • Appuyer la coordination interne avec les Coordonateurs de flagships pour la mise en œuvre des activités des programmes conjoints ;
  • Faciliter la coordination avec les Agences du SNU impliquées dans la mise en œuvre des programmes conjoints ;
  • Appuyer le suivi des activités des programmes conjoints UNCT ;
  • Appuyer le reporting/le partage de connaissance concernant les programmes conjoints ;
  • Fournir toute autre assistance programmatique à la Deputy RR si nécessaire

En plus de ce qui précède, les Volontaires des Nations Unies sont censés :

  • Renforcer leurs connaissances et compréhension du concept du volontariat en lisant la documentation mise à disposition par le programme VNU, les publications externes et prendre activement part
  • aux activités du programme VNU, par exemple s’impliquer dans les activités commémoratives de la Journée internationale des Volontaires (JIV), le 5 décembre.
  • Se familiariser et développer toute forme de volontariat traditionnel et/ou local au niveau du pays d’accueil.
  • Refléter le type et la nature des actions volontaires qu’ils entreprennent, y compris leur participation dans les réflexions substantielles.
  • Contribuer à la rédaction des articles sur les expériences de terrain à soumettre pour la publication du programme VNU/ site web, bulletin et notes de presse, etc.
  • Contribuer au Programme d’accueil des Volontaires des Nations Unies nouvellement arrivés dans le pays d’affectation;
  • Promouvoir ou conseiller les groupes locaux dans l’utilisation des volontaires en ligne ou encourager les individus et les organisations à utiliser les services de volontaires en ligne quand cela est techniquement possible.

Sous la supervision directe de la cheffe de Bureau de Terrain, le/la Volontaire des Nations unies effectuera les tâches suivantes, dans le cadre de l’assistance technique au Projet Lisungi, en partenariat constant avec l’equipe de Brazzaville ainsi que l’UGP du Lisungi:

  • Élaborer un cadre de suivi et d’évaluation (S&E) pour les activités du Projet Lisungi, en partenariat avec l’UGP et les autres membre de l’équipe du HCR, avec des indicateurs specifiques ;
  • Aider à la mise en place du système de collecte, de traitement et de gestion des données quantitatives et qualitatives basées sur des indicateurs pertinents ;
  • Développer et tester des outils de suivi et d'évaluation et des notes d'orientation pour assurer un suivi de qualité de la mise en œuvre du projet Lisungi, y compris des outils pour évaluer l'impact des activités et la satisfaction des bénéficiaires ;
  • Effectuer des visites régulières sur le terrain (dans des zones reculées) pour collecter les informations auprès des bénéficiaires nécessaires à la redaction rapport de supervision.
  • Participer à /Superviser la collecte de données sur le terrain pour les évaluations et les exercices de suivi notamment pour les enquêtes bi-semestrielles de 500 ménages choisi de manière aleatoire ;
  • Aider au traitement et à l'analyse des données d'évaluation quantitatives et qualitatives ainsi qu’à la production du rapport de S&E ;
  • Renforcer la capacité des autorités locales et de l’équipe du Projet Lisungi sur l’utilisation des outils de collecte pour une passation au terme de l’assistance technique ;

Under direct supervision of the Deputy Country Director (Operations) and in coordination with the Head of IT, the UN Volunteer will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Assess and measure end-user adoption levels of the digital skills, identify training needs for increased awareness, or end-user skills training through e.g. daily liaison with users, end-user surveys.
  • Engage with respective units to coordinate a task force in the office to ensure digital transformation
  • Help taskforce to formulate training plans for end users, digital champions, and others
  • Organize the delivery digital tools trainings, including to new staff, new users, new SharePoint champions trainings
  • Facilitate workshop with CO units to define their SharePoint organization and ensure migration of the relevant documents on SharePoint.
  • Conduct SharePoint research, in collaboration with CO ICT, and UNDP ICT peers e.g. in HQ, to understand potential solutions, and formulate SharePoint technical solutions. In collaboration with ICT team, formulate proposals for technical upgrades, new functionality, features, automations.
  • Upon endorsement of DCD-O, develop in collaboration with CO ICT follow ups documentation for implementation planning including project planning, ToRs etc.
  • Be in charge of responsible for implementation of technical changes to the SharePoint, in close collaboration with CO ICT, including technical documentation, testing, and release planning to ensure well prepared introduction of new features/ functions to end users.
  • Report on implementation and adoption progress of digital tools, by documenting (trends) in issues, tracking these changes and developing and maintaining a risk log.
  • Document good digital practices, including produce / share relevant documentation with other CO's and UNDP colleagues.
  • Facilitate process review workshop in the different unit and identify opportunity for simplification, digitization and automatization.
  • Identify opportunity and gaps to develop innovation methodology trainings (human-centered design, agile methodology, etc.)
  • Develop communication tools around digital transformation and digital culture
  • Identify opportunity to organize digital trainings with UNDP partners
  • Support the CO to better conduct / carry out daily work processes within the SP environment. For this the Specialist will need to keep his/herself abreast with knowledge on the latest developments, innovation trends in office productivity, including of all matters Microsoft SharePoint online and other Office365 solutions, as well as other tools e.g. Slack, Trello, Yammer for online social, knowledge networking, and collaboration.

Under the general supervision of the Chief DDR and direct supervision of Chief Reporting Unit, Staff member will be responsible to undertake the following tasks internally:

  • Serve as the focal-point in Bamako, and will handle the monitoring and evaluation of the SSR-DDR Section focusing on CVR Projects;
  • Design and implement the monitoring and evaluation of the various projects of the SSR-DDR;
  • Establish a comprehensive database on monitoring and evaluation of the CVR projects;
  • Conduct regular field visits to carry out monitoring and evaluation missions to ensure the progress of projects in those locations;
  • Ensure that training workshops on project formulation, reporting tools and monitoring and evaluation are enhance and conducted;
  • Provide comprehensive and periodic narrative reports on CVR projects to the SSR-DDR leadership;
  • Provide relevant information on lessons learned and good practices in the implementation of CVR and other projects, as well as recommendations to the SSR-DDR section management;
  • Review Community Violence Reduction (CVR) and Community Based Reinsertion (CBR) project Proposals, handling of their budgets and oversee their implementation in the regions of responsibility;
  • Serve as a focal point for all CVR projects in Gao and Mopti, ensuring that they meet the requirements of the CVR objectives;
  • Follow up at HQ level on all projects coming from Gao and Mopti ensuring that they go through the LRC (Local Reinsertion Committee), PAC (Project Appraisal Committee), ensure that recommendations are complied with, and memos are signed;
  • Participate in the preparation, organization and conduct of the PAC meetings and drafting of the minutes;
  • Follow up with MINUSMA Finance section on all payments made/tranches paid and vice versa of CVR projects;
  • Provide updates on CVR project tracking system for 2020-2021 and subsequent fiscal years projects;
  • May serve as secretary to the monthly CVR coordination meeting when necessary;
  • Assist in the organization of the life support assistance to the cantonment sites;

Under the direct supervision of CVR team leader, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:

  • Reviews Community Violence Reduction (CVR) and Community Based Reinsertion (CBR) project Proposals, handling of their budgets and oversee their implementation in the regions of responsibility;
  • Serves as a focal point for all CVR projects in Gao and Kidal, ensuring that they meet the requirements of the CVR objectives;

  • Provides updates on CVR project tracking system for 2016-2017 -18 and yearly projects under his responsibility;
  • Serves as the secretary to the monthly coordination meeting;
  • Assists in the organization of the life support assistance to the cantonment sites;
  • Coordinate with relevant MINUSMA sections the provision of support to the operations in support of the cantonment process;

  • Support the Senior Mission Planning Officer and the SPU in ensuring a strategic approach to the whole Mission’s activities in support of advancement of the mandate;
