Candidate age: between 18 and 29 throughout the entire duration of their assignment. Nationals of the country of assignment are not eligible, except the assignments in Headquarters duty stations. During deployment, the duties may be modified, based upon the technical needs of the Programme. Reporting to the Team Lead, Data Analytics and Knowledge Management, and working closely with counterparts at the respective Regional Office and HQ, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:

Minimum age: 25 years old. Nationals of the country of assignment are not eligible, except the assignments in Headquarters duty stations. Under the direct supervision of the the duties of the COE Medical Inspector will include but are not limited to the following:
Bachelor degree or equivalent
M.B.Ch.B. or M.B.B.S or MD

Minimum of 3 years post-graduation clinical experience. Previous military or police career and experience in COE management is an added advantage.

Under the overall supervision of the Director of the UNJHRO and the direct supervision of the Coordinator of the Reporting Unit, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:
Bachelor degree or equivalent
University degree in Law, Social Sciences or Political Science. Specialized study on International Human rights;

At least 3 years’ experience in Protection and promotion of human rights; Knowledge of international human rights instruments and rules for the protection and promotion of human rights; experience in research and drafting is an asset.

Excellent computer skills in Microsoft suite; English and French are the working languages of the United Nations /MONUSCO. This assignment requires fluency in French and English.
