Sous la supervision directe de l’Administrateur Associé à l’Administration et aux Finances, le/la volontaire des Nations Unies effectuera les tâches suivantes:

  • Agit en tant que point focal pour tous les voyages officiels et les visas;
  • Maintient et met à jour les informations sur la base de données Travel & Visa Unit, y compris

la saisie des données dans le processus d'autorisation et de réclamation de chaque PT8;

  • S’assure que les passagers ont réuni les mesures de sécurité standard à chaque voyage;
  • Maintient le système de classement des PT8s actifs et des demandes de remboursement des frais de voyage et veiller à ce qu'ils soient archivés selon les besoins;
  • Surveille le le processus de certification et de remboursement des frais de voyage et assure la liaison avec les voyageurs pour les exigences de conformité;
  • Analyse les données sur la demande de réclamation d'agence de voyage ou de vol humanitaire avec UNHAS et MONUSCO. À ce titre, répondre aux demandes de renseignements du personnel et rédiger des correspondances de routine avec les services externes;
  • Aide les collègues en ce qui concerne les demandes de documents des Nations Unies et le

traitement des demandes de visa, le cas échéant;

  • Assure la liaison quotidienne avec tous les points focaux pour la gestion des déplacements dans les bureaux extérieurs et extérieurs de la RDC afin de garantir un processus de voyage rapide;
  • Assure le suivi de remboursement des billets d'avion auprès des agences de voyages;
  • Assiste à la coordination, gestion et soutien de toutes les activités de gestion de flotte pour la sous-délégation de Lubumbashi et le bureau de terrain de Kalemie;
  • Assure la mise en œuvre de fleetwave et la bonne utilisation des logiciels métiers du HCR;
  • Applique la stratégie de gestion de flotte du HCR lors de la préparation des plans d'achat d'actifs de flotte importants. Réalise l’analyse des dépenses en utilisant les données antérieures des dépenses pour identifier les tendances pouvant être utilisées pour planifier les activités d'approvisionnement et les accords-cadres;
  • Effectue toutes autres tâches au besoin.
Bachelor degree or equivalent

Un diplôme universitaire de niveau licence. Un diplôme de de Graduat(Bac+3) assorti d'une expérience en administration des entreprises, logistique, entreposage ou un domaine connexe.

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of WEE Team Lead or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UNV Gender Officer & Coordinator will:

  • Thoroughly familiarize her/himself with the gender dynamics of South Sudan in order to enable the UN Women office, the Humanitarian Country Team (HCT) and the humanitarian clusters to develop a sound understanding of the prevailing gender situation, and take informed decisions on integrating gender in planning and operations;

  • Provide high-level and technical capacities in planning and coordination to the HCT;

  • Ensure that Gender Equity and Women’s Empowerment (GEWE) is integrated into the Humanitarian Programming Cycle (HPC), the Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO), the Strategic Response Plan (SRP), Flash and Consolidated Appeal processes, and other relevant strategic planning instruments/processes;

  • Engage with clusters and ensure that gender is appropriately integrated system-wide across all the clusters;

  • Mobilize local NGOs and Government authorities to engage in coordination, planning and programming;

  • Engage in discussions with potential partners in the country, including embassies or other inter-governmental organizations, in order to mobilize resources locally and generate interest at more upstream level in funding UN Women activities;

  • Contribute to concept and proposal development in gender, livelihood, and other UN Women thematic areas.

  • Contribute to the gap analysis in the areas of livelihoods, protection and GBV and Humanitarian response in the work location

  • Contribute to the design of capacity building materials and effectively implement the trainings at all levels

  • Manages the day-to-day livelihood activities, including activity finances as per UN Women financial regulations.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly work plans and ensure work plans are implemented as per the approved Annual work plan.

  • Monitor and document UN Women’s livelihood, protection and humanitarian work as directed by the Programme Specialist.

  • Prepare/contribute to weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, donor and other reports

  • Represent UN Women in state meetings and other stakeholder meetings in the state.

  • Contribute and actively participate in a regular sector meetings within UN Women and at district level

  • Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.

Gender equality and the advancement of women

The incumbent must be a dynamic, multi-functional person, who supports UN Women with professionalism, dedication and client orientation, and who must be willing both to work on programmatic/substantive aspects and to provide operational/logistical services. The following qualifications are required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area, e.g. gender studies, social sciences, agriculture or development studies.

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in coordination, planning, integration, advocacy for/in gender equality and women’s empowerment; experience in humanitarian settings and with humanitarian clusters required;

  • Extensive technical knowledge regarding gender in humanitarian action, GEWE, GBV, such as humanitarian planning and implementation instruments and processes, would be a strong asset;

    experience with training and facilitation (including participatory approaches), project development and management, monitoring and evaluation, human rights-based approaches, capacity development approaches, are all assets;

    Culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners, including grassroots community members and local authorities;

  • Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment; ability to work effectively in a multicultural team of international and national personnel;

  • Excellent oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills;

  • Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management; and office technology equipment;

  • Fluency in spoken and written English knowledge of Arabic is an advantage;

  • valid national driver’s license and proven ability to drive manual gear 4x4 over rough terrain;

    Ability to perform duties under stress and in insecure, isolated and potentially hostile environments;

  • Sound security awareness;

  • Have affinity with or interest in women’s and gender issues, humanitarian action, refugee work, post-conflict or natural disaster situations, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System.
