Who we are
Our organizational structure
UNV is based in Bonn, Germany. UNV has a staff of around 150 at headquarters, and almost 7,000 volunteers deployed in the field. Four Regional Offices in Bangkok, Dakar, Nairobi and Panama City develop regional interventions to advance peace and development, and around 80 Field Units represent the organization at the country level. Richard Dictus (Netherlands) is our Executive Coordinator.
UNV STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK 2014-2017
The current UNV Strategic Framework is dated from 2014-2017 and concentrates on five themes: access to basic social services, community resilience for environment and desaster risk reduction, peacebuilding, youth and national capacity development through volunteer schemes.
