UNV partnering with the Republic of Korea

The partnership between the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme and the Republic of Korea dates back to 1986. The Republic of Korea is UNV’s largest Full Funding programme partner. The partnership is managed through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

In 2024, 238 Koreans served as UN Volunteers, 161 of whom were funded by the Government of the Republic of Korea.
