Persons with disabilities at UNV

The disability inclusion strategy of the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme enables UN partners to include persons with disabilities in their workforce, thus expanding opportunities, diversity and representation. UNV aims to build a talent pipeline of qualified professionals with disabilities who can contribute to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at national and global levels. Read more of our coverage of UN Volunteers with disabilities and those serving persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, and check out the short timeline of UNV and persons with disabilities below.
