"Youth Impact for the SDGs in Côte d'Ivoire" is a US $118,500 project partially funded by Microsoft and implemented in collaboration with AIESEC, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and UNV. The project was developed following a workshop of the UNV Regional Office for West and Central Africa (ROWCA) in Dakar, Senegal, in September 2016 on harnessing the potential of young people to achieve the SDGs through volunteering.

The Young Person’s Guide: Changing the World Edition combines inputs from youth leaders and young people worldwide with expertise coming from 13 partner organizations in the private sector, civil society and international financial institutions.

Inspired by a strong will to make a difference, young people are very keen to tackle the challenges faced by youth all over the world. This is why UNV and AIESEC are organizing a workshop in Dakar, Senegal, on 7-8 September 2016, with the objective to harness Africa’s youth potential to meet the SDGs through volunteerism.
